Welcome to the Independent Alliance of the Electrical Industry, Benjamin Franklin Chapter.
Your membership will open up whole new worlds of knowledge and camaraderie in the electrical industry.
As a pioneer, the Independent Alliance of the Electrical Industry plays a strong leadership role in the electrical industry and its many organizations and associations. Because of its reputation for fairness and code-compliance, the association has long been labeled the Keystone of the Electrical Industry. Like the keystone, the association plays a cohesive role among testing agencies, standards organizations, manufacturers, distributors, and contractors.

Rest In Peace Ed Perrine
The Benjamin Franklin Chapter is sad to announce that Past President, Past Treasurer, and current Board Member Edward Perrine passed away on July 30, 2024. He was an Air Force Veteran, a Deacon at his church, and an honorary member of our chapter.
Ed Perrine supported the IAEI for over five decades, dedicating time and energy to the benefit of our members throughout his 57-year membership. During that time, he mentored countless peers, led our chapter, managed our finances, and was a friend to all.
Rarely does one meet a man who is so knowledgeable and cordial. Edward epitomized what it meant to be a gentleman. We are saddened to have lost his guidance and friendship. He was a beacon of erudite wisdom in our industry. Ed's absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
