About Us
The Benjamin Franklin Chapter of the Independent Alliance of the Electrical Industry is the leading entity for electrical education and training in the Philadelphia/Tri-State area. Our mission is simple – Electrical Safety Through Education.
By providing our members with the very best education available we ensure that electrical installations throughout the area are done in a safe, code-compliant manner. Furthermore, by educating the membership in job safety, we are ensuring that they go home every night to their families in one piece. This two-pronged approach leads to safe installations & safe installers. Ultimately this improves the economy of the Philadelphia area through higher profits (as a result of less errors) and less down time (due to injury) for the contractors, design professionals, inspectors, and other electrical professionals who make up our membership.
Our chapter meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the following months: January, February, March, April, May, September, October, and November. Click here for more information on our meetings.
