Our chapter meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the following months: January, February, March, April, May, September, October, and November.

The entrance fee includes a catered, buffet style dinner meal. A CEU Certificate reflecting 0.2 Continuing Education Units (2 Contact Hours) is issued to all attendees who stay for the presentation.  These credits are IAEI, Philadelphia and Pennsylvania approved.

The Benjamin Franklin Chapter proudly announces that we will feature two presenters this month. Roland Gutzky from MET Labs will present on NFPA 790 & 791. NFPA 790, the Standard for Competency of Third-Party Field Evaluation Bodies, and NFPA 791, the Recommended Practice and Procedures for Unlabeled Electrical Equipment Evaluation, provide the guidelines for certifying a third-party agency and the procedures used to evaluate equipment in the field.Next, we’ll hear from Robert Parissi, Chief Electrical Inspector, City of Philadelphia. Bob will provide a slideshow detailing the most common violations encountered in the field during permit audits by the City of Philadelphia. DON'T MISS THIS!
