October Meeting Registration
Greetings and Salutations! The Benjamin Franklin Chapter is excited to host a presentation from PECO Energy on how to connect to their system: single-phase and three-phase power, temporary services, and green energy connections such as solar photovoltaic.
Designers and installers must communicate with the utility when new projects or renovations are contemplated. PECO needs to know the loads that will be connected. They must be notified if you need shielding on high-voltage lines to protect workers on nearby scaffolding during a renovation.
Do you plan to feed solar generation into the grid? The utility must ensure their lines are properly sized and configured to accept power from this new source. Are you erecting a new building on a previously empty lot? If so, are you sure that the electrical infrastructure is not in the way and adequate to serve the new loads? PECO Energy has been a trusted partner to the electrical industry for decades, but they need our help to provide the best service. Join us as we share the knowledge you need to get it right!
Our presenters: Mehul Gandhi, Manager, PECO, BucksMont New Business; Brian Barr, Manager, PECO, Green Power Connect; Sandra Preston, Supervisor, PECO Philadelphia New Business; and Stephen Quagliarello, Design Construction Consultant. This interactive PowerPoint presentation will educate you and answer your questions. Can you afford to miss this opportunity?
